Ten years ago, our fearless CEO Tyler Robertson had an idea that started with a laptop, internet connection, and his kitchen table. Diesel Laptops was born, and through hard work, perseverance, and a little luck he quickly took his small eBay store to new heights.

Ten years later, Diesel Laptops can be found in all corners of North America, from appearances on Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush to your local mobile mechanic who makes sure you can make it home safely. We’re on a mission to change the industry for the better with our line of original hardware, software, and dedicated teams all working towards the same goal.

Our Community

Together with the community, on March 7^th we celebrated our 10-year anniversary as a company with our dedicated employees and partners who have supported us along the way. Making the evening extra special, we were joined by the stakeholders at Preteckt, our first ever acquisition which operates in the transit space.

We couldn’t do any of this without our dedicated employees leading the way. From diesel tech support to marketing, IT, sales, accounting, training, production, and everyone in between, we are a 200+ strong family that keeps the wheels turning every day. To those employees, this anniversary was our way to say “thank you!” for the dedication you bring to work every single day. It’s a testament to the leadership at Diesel Laptops that we haven’t lost the friendly family environment where everyone is willing to help and contribute.

Richland County and South Carolina

And as we celebrate this milestone, we want to recognize Richland County, the City of Columbia, the State of South Carolina, and the incredible business community that has supported us along the way. South Carolina is consistently ranked one of the best places in the nation to live and work, and this has no doubt contributed to our amazing success here.

Looking ahead, our future is as bright as the Carolina sunshine. Diesel Laptops will continue to innovate, excel, and grow as we disrupt the diesel industry for the better.
